Everywhere - Our Volunteer coordinator is located in Seattle - From there the efforts of numerous volunteers around the world are organized and directed.

6. Why don't you charge membership fees?
Because we don't need to, and more importantly, we don't want to. We are trying to provide helpful resources and we believe these should be free.
7. How do you function without membership fees?
The founders provide a donation every year to cover the costs of operating this website (i.e. domain name, web hosting). Everything else is done by volunteers -

4 individuals within the field of sound therapy - with a combined 80+ years working with sound
9. Why was IAST founded?
To make available free of charge resources in sound therapy.
10. When was IAST founded?
The idea was originally discussed in 1997. The mission statement was completed and construction begun on this website in June of 1998
